Seeking elegance and sustainability, the Karnavas family built this luxury home to retire to in Cedar Hill, Texas. Insulated Concrete Forms were the primary building method to achieve these goals plus added safety in an area prone to tornados. 

With their durability and ease of installation, ICFs were included in the design’s FEMA-rated ICF safe room, rear retaining wall and detached storage building. After construction, an energy analysis showed that the home performs 53.7% better than code minimum and averages only $175/month in its electrical bills.
