1st Runner Up and People's Choice Winner of the 2025 ICF Builder Awards in the Unlimited Residential Category

Just one glance at the Jackson Residence and its grandeur and craftsmanship are obvious. Towering arched openings, elegantly framed by Nudura’s Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs), set the tone for the entire home. Stepping inside this architectural masterpiece, one is immediately captivated by the magnificent foyer. The sweeping staircase, illuminated by natural light pouring through the arched upper windows, guides the visitors into a stunning entryway.

Located in Brownsboro, Alabama, this expansive 8,999 sq. ft. residence is an ode to the versatility and durability of Nudura ICF technology. Designed to withstand the extreme weather conditions of Tornado Alley, the home features 100% ICF exterior walls, an insulated slab and a safe room. The complexity of the design, marked by multiple arches, cantilevered walls, wrap-around balconies and a floating double-deck porch, is backed by the use of ICFs to not only enhance the home’s structural integrity but also improve its energy efficiency and soundproofing.

This noise attenuation was a huge benefit for the acoustics of the home theater, which is enclosed on three sides with ICF walls. The commitment to precision is evident in every aspect of the build, from waterproofing the decks to ensuring flawless arch executions. This project is a shining example of how innovative ICF technology can push the boundaries of residential construction, delivering a home that is as breathtaking as it is resilient.
