Upon starting his own winery, Brian Pelascini researched various building materials and construction methods to see what would be the best fit for his new building. He discovered Nudura Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs) and was drawn to the technology’s ability to thermally control an interior environment, a critical feature in the warm California climate. It was clear that the insulation value and thermal mass of ICFs would make the winery more energy-efficient and provide more consistent temperatures.
Pelascini went through the Nudura online training program to understand the ICF installation process, then reached out to get started. Fast forward and today, this beautiful ICF winery is easily kept at a constant 65 degrees year-round to ensure maximum flavor and lifespan of the wines inside.
