EPS Machine Operator

Columbus, GA

NUDURA – The leader of Manufactured Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), the simple path to a better built environment, is currently looking for an experienced, motivated, and determined individual. If you want to affect change in the way our world is built, then come join our team as an EPS Machine Operator.


The Enterprise Production System (EPS) Machine Operator loads the trolley or loader with webs and inspects product as it comes out. The Operator then collapses and labels the product once it’s verified for quality, before sending it through the wrapping machine. The Operator is responsible for documenting the process by ensuring the production sheet is completed thoroughly.

-Responsible for successful operation of the assigned machine (one machine per operator).

-Loads webs that have been checked and approved for quality onto the trolley or loader, and then pulls completed forms from Alessio machine for further quality checks.

-Ensures that product is properly guided through the machine to be inspected by quality personnel.

-Places bar code labels on inspected forms to be scanned into inventory.

-Fills out the production sheet according to production and quality checks. The production sheet ensures trace ability of the product, quality, and is reviewed by Quality Personnel and Plant Manager.

-Responsible for restarting the machine should there be a mechanical fault.

-Collectively lifts boxes and components onto conveyors, identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, and quality assurance. Cross-trains on other production positions to assist as necessary.

-Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: The EPS Machine Operator is expected to be a high-energy, and resourceful self-starter, highly enthusiastic with a commitment to excellence. The EPS Machine Operator should have the ability to keep up with fast paced equipment while maintaining a high standard of quality, and must demonstrate the following:


-High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
-Previous experience in a plant preferred.


-Models the values and expectations of 168 - integrity, responsible entrepreneurship,
commitment, and moral courage.

-Demonstrates accepted ethical and professional business behavior.
Completes and maintains all required training. Reports suspected violations including those of a business associate.

-Adheres to all OSHA safety standards and reports hazards appropriately.


-This position works in an environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention.
-The facility environment can reach extreme heat and cold with no HVAC system to moderate in the changing seasons.
-While performing the duties of this job, employee must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including safety rules, operating procedures, product specifications, material identification, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
-Must be able to operate and use all necessary equipment. (i.e. Forklift)
-Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, squat, reach, grab, pull, push and lift items that can weigh from 25-50 pounds.
-Performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to both the production floor which may contain fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud with constant interruptions and frequent discussions/conversations with staff regarding schedules and needs.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. The standard workday schedule is set by the Plant Manager with two shift options (day and evening).

Job may require overtime due to seasonal demands.
